Commemoration at Airborneplein

An annual commemoration is held at Airborneplein to mark the Battle of Arnhem. Together with historical allies, flags are raised, wreaths are laid and the Allied soldiers who lost their lives whilst doing their utmost to capture the John Frost Bridge and thus liberate Arnhem and the surrounding area are commemorated.
